ICAR Recruitment 2022: The Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) invites eligible candidates for the posts of Senior Research Fellow (SRF), Field worker and Young Professional-II. All given posts are purely on a temporary or contractual basis in the ICAR-funded project. The eligible candidates are requested to send their application in the enclosed proforma (Annexure I) along with a scanned copy of the original documents (as a single PDF file) through the web link (given below) latest by the 10th of August 2022.
After screening the applications, only the eligible candidates will be informed for appearing in the online interview by email or phone and candidates‘ original documents will be verified at the time of appointment.

Post-wise Salary, Age and Qualification Details for ICAR Recruitment 2022
1. Senior Research Fellow (SRF)
Salary: Rs.31000 per plus HRA For 1st and 2nd year and Rs.35000 P.M. plus HRA for 3rd year
Age: Upper age limit is 35 years.
Essential Qualification: M.Tech. or M.E. (Agricultural Engineering (Farm Machinery)/ Mechanical Engineering/ Electronics Engineering/ Computer Science) with 4 or 5 years Bachelor’s degree
Desirable Qualification: Experience in Robotics, Drone, CAD for mechanical, electronic circuit development, Computer programming-C, Python and Android Application programming.
2. Fieldworker
Salary: Rs.15000 (Consolidated)
Age: Upper age limit: 45 years
Essential Qualification: Field worker/12th Pass/ITI in Electronics/Fitting
3. Young Professional-II (YP-II)
Salary: Rs.35000 (consolidated)
Age: Upper age limit: 35 years
Essential Qualification: B.E. or B.Tech (Aerospace Engineering/ Aeronautical Engineering and equivalent)/Electrical/Electronics engineering equivalent
Desirable Qualification: Working experience in Agricultural drone piloting, assembling and fabrication of drones and training of pilots for at least a total of 1 year in reputed organizations, especially in Agricultural Universities & reputed Drone Start-Up companies, handling both fixed wing and multi-copter, drone data processing and analysis. Robotics /Mechatronics/ IoTs etc. Drone flying licenses from recognized agencies and candidates having NET (ICAR/UGC/ CSIR) or GATE will be preferred.
