It is not that I don’t have enough to do trying to cover a single software/app topic within a single month, but we know some of you like to read about other choices or options. So, from time to time I try to sneak in other apps or an app mini-series that you might find helpful or interesting.
Zoho Assist provides secure cloud-based remote support and access to deliver customer support. You will easily establish secure web-based, on-demand connections to remote PCs, laptops, mobile devices, and servers for both Windows and Mac.
With Zoho Assist, you can troubleshoot a remote computer through ad-hoc or on-demand remote sessions with no prior installation. Alternatively, via email, you can invite the user of a remote computer to join a session for remote support or troubleshooting.
During the connected session, you can chat with your customer via voice or video, which helps resolve issues more quickly. You cannot only view and control your customers’ remote shared screen, but also share your screen with a customer during a support session.
In addition, you can share your computer’s clipboard with the remote computer. This helps you copy anything in your computer and paste it on any file in the remote computer. This feature can be disabled or denied by either the technician or customer during any remote desktop session.
While connected with Zoho Assist to a remote computer, you can simultaneously view and navigate any number of monitors connected to the remote computer via the remote session. You also can arrange monitors in predefined configurations based on your own preference.
Zoho’s hassle-free system for multi-monitor navigation allows you to move between monitors of the remote desktop with a click of your mouse.
As you proceed through your remote support session, you can easily capture key information in the form of session notes to be referenced later. You can edit and download these notes anytime either during the session, or after, for record-keeping purposes.
You can set up unattended remote access for computers. When time is of the essence, it is simple to schedule a remote session at a preferred time. Reminders also can help you, as your customers keep track of your scheduled session.
Technicians can transfer files during a live session to or from remote computers. The transfer function is completely secure because it uses SSL 256-bit AES encryption. File Transfer sends installation files, patches or updates to your customer’s computer, or receives files that require troubleshooting from your customer’s computer.
Technicians also can reboot any remote desktop with a single click whenever needed, and reconnect to the session without losing control.
Zoho Assist was designed with enterprise functionality in mind, so the technical support company’s logo and email can be branded to the support features and portal. The portal URL can even be configured with custom domain mapping to carry the company’s branding forward.
And the Zoho Assist Mobile App lets you provide support even on-the-go. Its powerful remote access app gives you any customers’ screens right on your mobile device so you can provide effective remote support and assistance from any location.
When you need a solution to provide remote support and deliver customer assistance for technical issues, Zoho Assist empowers you with one of the best remote support solutions and experiences within the industry.
