ICAI Expanding Reach of Campus Placement Programme to new Cities; Check details
Out of the 10,197 registered candidates, 7312 recently qualified CAs received job offers at the 55th edition of the Campus Placement programme, which saw outstanding success. The programme, which was virtually held across 9 large and 12 smaller centres throughout India, attracted a record-breaking 173 companies.
ICAI has decided to expand the campus programme to new cities, encouraged by its success. Bhopal, Lucknow, Patna, Raipur, Ranchi, and Vadodara will be included in the 56th edition of the Campus programme, bringing the total number of centres to 9 big and 18 smaller ones. In order to qualify as premier day centres, four major current centers—Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Jaipur, and Pune—must give a minimum CTC of Rs. 17 lakhs annually on the first day of interviews. At all currently operating centres, the CTC minimum threshold limit is being raised to Rs. 9 lakhs annually. The CTC will now be Rs. 7.2 lakhs per year for new centres.
