Indian Coast Guard Recruitment 2022: The Directorate (Recruitment), Ministry of Defence has invited Online Applications from the Dynamic Indian Male/Female Candidates for various Branches as an Assistant Commandant(Group ‘A’ Gazetted Officer). Such Persons brimming with National Patriotism and are Passionate and Dedicated for the Nation, duly satisfying the Eligibility as an Assistant Commandant – General Duty (GD), Commercial Pilot Licence Short Service Appointment (CPL-SSA), Technical (Mechanical, Engineering & Electrical/Electronics) & Law for 02/2023 Batch are encouraged to apply. The End Date for Online Applications is stipulated 7th September 2022 (1730 Hours). Online Registration commenced on the 17th Date of August 2022 (1100 Hours) mentioned in the Indian Coast Guard Ministry of Defence Recruitment 2022.

Selection Process: Selection to all the Branch-specific Officer Recruit Posts shall be on the basis of an all India order of Merit, which will be based on the each every Individual Candidate’s Performance in various Stages (Stage I, Stage II, Stage III, Stage IV and Stage V) of the Recruitment Test Methodologies and Availability of the Vacancies for the Post. In order to be considered being Eligible for Selection, it is Mandatory for the Participants to Clear all 05 Stages I, II, III, IV and V for Recruitment in the Indian Coast Guard (ICG). All the Candidates will be compulsorily subjected to Biometric, Photo Identification and Document Verification (DV) during various stages of the Recruitment Examination. Short Service Appointment as Assistant Commandant is spans 08 Years which may be extended to 10 years and further Extendable up to 14 Years.
Stage-I: Coast Guard Common Admission Test (CGCAT):
Total 100 Objective-Type Multiple Choice Questions = Aggregate 400 Marks and Exmaination Duration
Marking Scheme: 04 Marks for every Correct Response. Negative 01 Mark for Wrong Answer. Each Part comprise 25 Objective Type Multiple Choice Question with 04 Marks for each Multiple Choice Question of Objective-Type.

Stage-II: (Preliminary Selection Board)
The Preliminary Selection Board shall screen the Candidates through Computerised Cognitive Battery Test (CCBT) and Picture Perception & Discussion (PP&DT).
The CCBT will be Objective Type in nature in English only. The Candidates reporting for Stage-II will be first put to undergo Photo and Biometric Verification (PBV). Candidate’s Photo Captured & Biometric Recorded during Stage-II is verified with the captured Photo & Biometric recorded during the Stage-I.
Stage-III: Final Selection Board (FSB):
FSB is conducted at the Coast Guard Selection Board (CGSB) located in Noida, which spans over Five Days. The candidates will be subjected to the Psychological Test (PT), Group Task (GT) and Interview (Personality Test). The Final Selection Board will conduct Final Selection tentatively from February up to April 2023. The Final Selection Board shall conduct Verification of all the Testimonials (i.e., Documents/Certificates during the Preliminary Selection Board, where the Candidates will have to essentially present their Testimonials in original during Final Selection Board. The Final Selection Board conducts Board Conference on the Last Day and thereafter recommends the Candidates for Stage-IV, i.e., Special Medical Examination (SPE).
Stage-IV: (Medical Examination):
It is mandatory for the Candidates to clear Stage-III to be considered Eligible to undergo a Special Medical Examination in the Base Hospital, New Delhi. The Candidates declared Unfit in Special Medical Board(SMB) are included in the Merit List,
Stage-V: (All India Merit List Preparation)
The Candidates, who clear Stage – IV and stand in the All-India Merit List as per availability of the Vacancies. The Candidates declared to be on the All India Merit List are Provisionally Selected for the Training and will be required to report in the Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala for Naval Orientation Course (NOC) as per the instructions.
Merit List Criteria: All India Merit List will be based on the Candidates’ obtained Combined Marks in Stage-I and Stage-III. The Candidates reporting in the Indian National Academy Ezhimala for Training will First undergo Photo and Biometric Verification.

02) Commercial Pilot Licence (Short Service Appointment) (Male and Female)

Educational Qualification: I) Mathematics and Physics as subject up to Intermediate or Class XII (10+2+3 Scheme of the Education or Equivalent with Minimum 55% Aggregate Marks in Mathematics and Physics. The Candidates having completed Graduation after Diploma, are also Eligible, provided they should obtain Aggregate 55% Marks in Diploma with Physics and Mathematics in its Curriculum.
II) Should possess Current Commercial Pilot License (CPL) issued/validated by the Director General Civil Aviation (DGCI) on the Date of Submission of Application.
03) Technical (Mechanical) (Male)
