Now You Have Only One Excuse

Over the years, I’ve had ProAdvisors say to me, “I will never qualify for Top 100, the criteria are just too stringent.” Others would say, “The ProAdvisors on that Top 100 list have been working with QuickBooks 20 years, how is a new person ever going to qualify?”

I would try to explain to them that the “Up-n-Comer” category was designed to bring new ProAdvisors into the list each year, but I also realized there were only 10 up-n-comer positions out of one-hundred ProAdvisors on the list.

In addition, the criteria for up-n-comers included some requirements that were overly limiting to many newbies.

In order to rectify this situation, Insightful Accountant set out this year to make some changes in the qualifications, but the result was an entirely new set of Up-n-Coming ProAdvisor Awards. Now, almost any ProAdvisor with at least one current ProAdvisor Certification can qualify.

You don’t need vast experience to qualify. You don’t need a lot of stars on your Find-a-ProAdvisor Profile to qualify. You don’t even need to offer free consultations to qualify.

You need not have attended “QuickBooks Connect” or “Scaling New Heights” to qualify. You don’t even need to be a member of a QuickBooks-related organization.

But what you must do is be willing to take the first step in the process.

As I tell every ProAdvisor seeking to become part of the “best of the best,” it all starts “with you.”

You must believe in yourself enough to nominate yourself. Otherwise, how are you ever going to take the big leap when it comes time to dive into the formal application to tell us all the nitty-gritty of your ProAdvisor practice?

Sure, we want to know about your education, training, certifications and similar stuff, but that’s just part of it. What we most want to know is the real you. We want to know what makes you tick. What you like best about being a ProAdvisor and what you do best for your clients.

We want to know how hard you work to get things done, and how hard you have worked to accomplish what you have accomplished in your ProAdvisor practice. We want to know what you really like about QuickBooks, and what your favorite apps are and why.

And most of all, we want to know why you think you have the “right stuff.” (The whole “what it takes to be a top ProAdvisor.”)

If you’re ready to tell us all of these things, we have created a new opportunity to hear you out. The result of this process is that you could be one of Insightful Accountant‘s “Up-n-Coming ProAdvisors” for 2023.

But it all begins with you taking that first step… Nominating Yourself HERE.
