Salary for NIT Hmirpur Recruitment 2023:

As per NIT Hamirpur Recruitment 2023 official notification, the pay scale for given positions are as follows:

1. Assistant Professor Grade-II (Level 10):
   • Pay Level 10 with minimum Cell No.8 as per 7th CPC Initial Minimum Pay Rs. 70,900/- along with admissible allowances.
2. Assistant Professor Grade-II (level 11):
   • Pay Level 11 with minimum Cell No.3 as per 7th CPC Initial Minimum Pay Rs. 73,100/- pm along with admissible allowances.
3. Assistant Professor Grade-I (Level 12): 
   • Pay Level 12 of Pay Matrix i.e. Rs. 101,500/-pm to ₹ 167,400/- pm along with admissible allowances

Qualification for NIT Hamirpur Recruitment 2023:

As per NIT Hamirpur Recruitment 2023 official notification, the eligibility for the position, the candidates must hold a Ph.D. in the relevant or equivalent discipline and must have first-class degrees (Bachelor onwards). The candidates should have secured at least a 6.5 CGPA (on a 10-point scale) or 60% marks in aggregate in case the first class is not mentioned in the preceding degrees by the university or institution. The conversion from CGPA to percentage or vice versa given by individual institutes/universities will not be considered for the determination of eligibility. The candidates who have acquired the essential qualification (Ph.D.) and/or preceding degrees from abroad shall be considered if the degree is offered by a national university/institute of the respective country or offered by institutions that are in QS/THE World Ranking up to 500 for the post of various faculty positions.

Experiance for NIT Hamirpur Recruitment 2023:

As per NIT Hamirpur Recruitment 2023 official notification, candidates must have relevant experience as per the guidelines provided by the Government of India. The experience should be acquired in fully funded Central Educational Institutions, State Educational Institutions funded by the respective State Government, IIMs, and other management Institutions ranked by NIRF up to 50 for any two years, and other Educational Institutions ranked by NIRF up to 100 in overall, Universities, Engineering and for Architecture, for any two years.

For the position of Assistant Professor, Grade I, the candidate should have experience at the level of Assistant Professor with Academic Grade Pay Rs. 6000/7000, which means experience as Assistant Professor with a particular Pay Level 10 or 11 as per MHRD letter No. F.No.15-4/2017-TC, dated 27th Oct. 2017. And this Pay Level varies from Cell No. 1-18, i.e. pay Rs. 1,01,500 to Rs.1,67,400.

For the position of Assistant Professor, Grade II, Level 11, the candidate should have experience at the level of Assistant Professor with Academic Grade Pay Rs. 6000, which means experience at Assistant Professor with a particular Pay Level 10 or 11 as per MHRD letter No. F.No.15-4/2017-TC, dated 27th Oct. 2017. And this Pay Level varies from Cell No. 1-18, i.e. pay Rs. 1,01,500 to Rs.1,67,400.

In addition, international/national experience as Post Doctoral Fellow with National Agencies of respective countries and Post Doctoral Fellowships offered by Institutions, which are in QS / THE World Ranking up to 500, will be considered for the post of Assistant Professor(AGP 8000) as per clarification no. 2, issued by Oversight Committee. [GoI, MHRD, F.No.33-9/2011-TS.III, dated 16th April 2019].

Probation Period for NIT Hamirpur Recruitment 2023:

As per NIT Hamirpur Recruitment 2023 official notification, all appointments to posts under the Institute shall be made on probation for a period of one year. After the completion of the probation period, if the appointee is confirmed, he/she shall continue to hold the office subject to the provisions of the Act and the Statutes, till the end of the month in which he/she attains the prescribed superannuation age for teaching posts. The age of superannuation for teaching posts is as per the rules of the Government of India, which is currently 65 years. However, the appointing authority has the power to extend the period of probation of any employee of the Institute for such periods as may deem fit.

However, candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD and women categories are exempted from paying the application fee. After making the payment, candidates should take a printout of the receipt and attach it to their application form.

As per NIT Hamirpur Recruitment 2023 official notification, the general instructions and information for candidates applying for the post at the National Institute of Technology Hamirpur:

1. Candidates must apply using the prescribed application form available on the Institute’s website.
2. The filled application form must be sent by hand/speed/registered post to the Registrar, National Institute of Technology Hamirpur, Hamirpur-177 005 (H.P.) India, along with the proof of fee deposition and self-attested copies of relevant testimonials, certificates, enclosures, etc.
3. The envelope containing the application must be superscribed with “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF___________________” IN THE DEPARTMENT OF __________________________”
4. The last date for receiving hard copy is 10-03-2023. The Institute shall not be responsible for any sort of postal delay for whatsoever reasons Soft copies of the application form will not be accepted by candidates working in India. However, Indian Nationals working abroad can submit a scanned copy of the filled-in application by email to [email protected] They are also required to send the hard copy by courier, no later than 17-03-2023. Non-receipt of the hard copy may result in a non-consideration of such applications.
5. Candidates who wish to apply for more than one department or more than one post in the same department should apply separately for each department/post and submit a separate application form for each along with the requisite fee.
