Overview:
EY is hiring an experienced Associate – SAS at their Trivandrum location. As an Associate, you will collaborate with business, reporting, and other teams to understand business requirements and perform data analysis. Get involved in project transition from different teams, do enhancements, modifications and support post transition as needed. This opportunity will allow you to be instrumental in leading, designing, mentoring, and implementing our next generation of reporting and data analytic business solutions. You will work with back-end data teams to construct data objects necessary for supporting business requirements.

What will you be doing:
Create SAS production codes for analytical and reporting requirements.
Ability to analyse existing production code and capable of implementing new changes based on new business requirements.
Support for new and evolving complex reporting structure.
Perform extensive and detailed data analysis necessary to ensure strict adherence to data quality
Take on end-to-end ownership and perform different roles within analysis and development phases
Adhere to general work requirements and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications for this Job:
Ability to handle all projects independently and ready to support recurring reports.
Python/R skill is nice to have skills along with relevant SAS experience.
Working knowledge in Machine Learning, AI, Natural Language Processing will be an added advantage.
2-5 years of experience as a SAS data analyst/data analytics role.
Python/R skill is mandatory and should be able to develop code in R or Python. Should be able to support in existing R/Python code.
Working knowledge in MS Excel Macros, VB illustrations will be added advantage
Bachelor’s degree in a related field
Proficient in SAS including data management and analytics reporting. Python/R skill is mandatory and should have knowledge in any one tool.
Ability to understand existing SAS production code to determine business logic and implement new changes based on the business requirement.
Proficient working knowledge of spreadsheet, database, presentation software, email, and specialized business applications necessary for Data representation
Ability to read and interpret complex reports and documents
Presentation skills necessary to effectively communicate, update, persuade, and facilitate discussions within team
Interpersonal skills necessary to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, other business areas as required
Planning skills necessary to coordinate workload around multiple assignments.
