Overview:
Maruti is hiring an experienced Buyer – Engine Parts at their Gurugram location. You will be sourcing (Release of RFQ, Quotation comparison, Cost Negotiations, LOI release) and zero Based Costing knowledge, Manufacturing process Knowledge.

Roles and Responsibilities:
The Ideal Candidate should be able to:
Negotiation ability with vendors, cross functional departments coordination
Part development activities, Project monitoring to meet Model Timelines for PP, MPP, Pilot & SOP’s
Regular follow-ups for OE & SPD supplies
Vendor Upgradation, Rating improvement, Overall vendor assessments in terms of Financial Health, De risking, alternate sourcing etc.
ERP system know how, Competent in Excel.
Vendor Capacity assessment and capacity buildup
Competitor benchmarking
Cost Reduction on overall buying thru Volume Growth Fixed Cost Benefit, Value Analysis, Yield Improvement, Localization, process improvement or alternate process.
Vendor Risk Assessment & basic Financial knowledge (can assess balance sheet)
