Overview:
AMD is hiring an experienced Sr. Information Security Analyst at their Hyderabad location. As an Insider Threat Analyst, you will work closely with a 24×7 team to acknowledge, identify, triage, and mitigate threats to the company’s intellectual property and confidential business information.

What will you be doing:
Analyst will perform initial triage of all data loss prevention alerts; including initial identification of relevant factual information related to the alert, and critically analyzing available data to understand why the alert was triggered, if this incident represents a possible loss of confidential AMD information, and following standard operating procedures (SOPs) to assess the scope of impact and disposition of appropriate communication to remedy any potential incidents.
While following the SOPs and templates of the Insider Threat program, be able to provide recommend improvements in detection, response, communications, and remediation to reduce complexity and improve efficiency and effectiveness of the team.
Review and understand the root cause analysis and contributing factors to the DLP alerts and ensure this information is well documented.
Contribute to assignments to improve processes, capabilities, and overall Insider Threat Operations.
Work with insider threat tools software tools to analyze, respond and escalate threats.
Be willing to work on a 24×7 shift rotation schedule.
Qualifications for this Job:
1+ years working as a Security Operations Center (SOC) analyst, either covering Insider Threat/DLP or a related InfoSec or investigation capacity.
1+ years of experience navigating and understanding Windows, Linux and Mac Operating Systems and OS internals.
Previous experience working in a 24/7 ops center environment (including shift work and rotating schedules).
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Ability to synthesize data from multiple streams of information and collection platforms to identify potential threats to sensitive company information.
Familiarity with data analytics tools used for insider threat information collection on computer networks or knowledge of other insider threat risk scoring data analytics tools and programs.
Excellent written and oral English communication skills.
Ability to work in an ambiguous, flexible, fast-paced environment and succeed as a self- starter and individual contributor, with minimal direct supervision.
The highest level of integrity and honesty and the ability to protect sensitive confidential information.
Experience responding quickly to changing situations and escalation in complex environments without compromising quality.
